Delivery / Transport

Air handling units are delivered in units suitable for transport.
On receipt of the goods, check the equipment and components for possible
transport damage.
If there is any damage or you suspect that damage may be present, ensure that
the recipient notes such damage on the consignment note and asks the carrier
to sign it as confirmation.
Immediately notify WOLF about the details of any problem.
Only handle these units the same way up as in their installation position.
NB
Otherwise the integral components can be damaged, which could lead to
malfunctions.
Geräte der Baugröße KG-Kompakt 6000, 8000 und 10 000 können zur leichteren
Einbringung in drei Teile zerlegt werden. (siehe Montagehinweise zur Geräte-
verbindung)
Wolf kompakt units sizes 6000, 8000, 10 000 are delivered completely assembled.
The unit sections are assembled with screws, all electrical connections are
provided with plugs for an easy connection.
NB When using a fork-lift truck or rollers, ensure that the lifting arms or rollers are
positioned underneath the frame profiles and not underneath the floor plates.
On the operator side, 1x equipment width is required as space for assembly/
installation, operation and servicing.
Set up equipment requiring a syphon (e.g. cooler accessory, KGXD/PWT) in such
a way that problem-free installation and function of the syphon are assured (take
the foundation height of the building into account).
We recommend a waterproof foundation design for equipment with a cooler over
rooms with equipment sensitive to moisture (e.g. computer rooms etc.).
Only install KG-Kompakt air handling units in a frost-proof room.
NB
If the risk of frost cannot be excluded for the installation site, then take suitable
measures to ensure that water-carrying components cannot freeze up
(see frost protection, page 17).
