3. Assembly
UNFOLDING AND ASSEMBLY
Step 1. Unfolding the wheelchair
Place the wheelchair on the ground. Unfold the wheelchair's backrest using the
hand grips which are at the back of the backrest. Then, press the front and rear
edge of the seat so that all the elements fit together.
Step 2. Assembly of footrests
Assemble the right and the le� footrest in the front part of the frame by placing
them on two pins and turn them inwards un�l they are locked.
NOTE: For transporta�on, the footrest plates are turned to the outside of the
wheelchair. To put them in the correct posi�on, a�er installing the right and le�
footrests, turn both footrest plates to the center of the wheelchair.
Step 3. Adjustment of footplates
Adjust the right and the le� footplate by �ghtening the screw which is placed at
the botom of footrests with included key. Proper space should be le� between
the footplates and the ground as footplates set too low may cause difficul�es in
overcoming such obstruc�ons as curb. Adjust the footplates so that the angle
between trunk and thighs is 90

Step 4. Assembly of protec�ve strap
Put the protec�ve strap on the footrest as it prevents user's legs from sliding
down under the wheelchair from footplates.
Note! Do not use the wheelchair without protec�ve strap.
Step 5. Adjustment of an�-�p wheels
In order to adjust an�-�p wheels, which are located at the back of the wheelchair,
pull the lock, move the wheels upwards or downwards, and select appropriate
height.
Step 6. Checking the assembly of wheels
Li� the wheelchair slightly and spin the right wheel and then the le� one by
pulling the handrims and check if the wheels spin properly.
Step 7. Assembly of cushion and upholstery
Fix the cushion and upholstery to the backrest with Velcro.
