3) Inline dimmer reset
Remove the device from the previous WiFi network (if
added), otherwise the pairing will fail.
Step 1
Press the reset button for +/- 9 seconds.
Then briefly click the reset button 2 times
to enter pairing mode.
Step 2
Then briefly click the reset button
2 times to enter pairing mode.
6) Connecting to the app
1. Open the APP. Follow the steps to begin the discovery process.
2. When your product is discovered, tap 'next' .
3. Confirm your Wi-Fi details and tap 'confirm' . This will start the pairing
process, adding your in-line dimmer to the app.
4. Once pairing is complete, you can edit the name of your in-line dimmer
(optional).
5. To complete the pairing process, tap ' done' .
Note: If the pairing process does not work, and you are sure the
password for your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network is correct, try pairing in
AP mode.
1) Min light level setting
Turn on the lights using the dimmer shaft. T hen turn the dimmer shaft as far
to the left as possible (minimum light output). Do the lights blink? Then use a
screwdriver to slowly turn the MIN potentiometer to the right for stable light.
Is the light already stable? Then slowly turn the MIN potentiometer to the left
for even better dimmability, until just before the point the lights start blinking.
That is the best dimmability of these LED bulbs.
4) Setting up the app
1. Download the desired smart app.
DOWNLOAD THE APP
2. Tap "create new account 'or 'log in to account.
3. Follow the instructions in the app and tap "OK.
7) Set up voice control
Google Assistant
1. Open the google home app and sign in to your google account.
2. Tap+ and select Device Setup > Have you already set anything up?
3. Select Tuya Smart from the list or type Tuya smart in the search bar.
4. Type in your App login credentials.
5. Tap Pair Now > Authorize.
Amazon Alexa
1. Open the Amazon Alexa app and sign in to your Alexa account.
2. Tap More > Skills & Games.
3. Search for Tuya Smart and tap Enable.
4. Enter your account information and tap 'connect now' .
1) Max light level setting
Turn on the lights using the dimmer shaft. T hen turn the dimmer shaft as far to
the left as possible (minimum light output). Then turn the dimmer shaft as far
to the right as possible (maximum light output). Do the lights blink? Then use
a screwdriver to slowly turn the MAX potentiometer to light for stable light.Is
the light already stable? Then slowly turn the MAX potentiometer to the right
for even better dimmability, until just before the point the lights start blinking.
That is the best dimmability of these LED bulbs.
5) Connecting to the app
To connect your in-line dimmer to the app, you must first activate pairing mode.
The app requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
PRESS FOR 5 SECONDS
Step 1
Click the reset button for 5 seconds to
enter pairing mode.
Step 2
The indicator light on the inline
dimmer will begin flashing rapidly
(about 8 times every 5 seconds).
The light connected to the inline
dimmer will begin to pulse.
Reduction of connection power by PowerFactor
When calculating the LED connection power of the dimmer,
take into account the PowerFactor of the dimmable LED
lighting. See the global calculation below for this.
