Lock the shaft. Insert a tool into the hole in the cutting
head and rotate the blade until it locks
The tightening torque for the screw that secures the
cutting disc is 25 Nm.
5. Reversing the cutting head
The cutter is equipped with a reversible cutting head that allows cutting close to the wall or at ground
level, the cut being limited only by the thickness of the blade guard. In case of kickback, it is more difficult
to control the machine when cutting with the cutting head inverted. The cutting disc is further from the
center of the cutter, which means that the handle and the cutting disc are no longer aligned. Reverse the
cutting head only for cuts that are not possible in standard mode.
Loosen the three nuts (A) holding the upper belt guard. Turn the
tensioner (B) to the "O" position to loosen the belt.
Remove the upper belt guard.
Disconnect the water hose nipples and handle from the blade
guard (C). Remove the stopper (D)
The cutting head is now loose and can be removed from the
machine. Remove the strap.
Rotate the bearing housing in the opposite direction and reassemble the
stopper.
