3. Release the release of the chuck
(20) los.
4. Make sure that the saw blade (25/
26) is attached correctly and the
teeth are pointing in the cutting
direction.
Removing the saw blade (Fig. A)
Hold the device in a way that no per-
sons in the vicinity are injured by the
ejected saw blade.
1. Hold the saw blade (25/26) firmly.
2. Turn the release of the chuck (20)
as far as possible.
The saw blade (25/26) is ejected.
If the saw blade is not ejected:
Hold the release of the chuck and
pull the saw blade from the chuck.
3. Release the release of the chuck
(20) los.
Using the parallel guide
The parallel guide can be fitted on
both sides of the tool.
Fitting the parallel guide (Fig. B)
1. Loosen the retaining screws (19) if
necessary.
2. Push the parallel guide (27) into
the holders (17).
3. Retighten the retaining screws
(19).
Removing the parallel guide (Fig. B)
1. Loosen the retaining screws (19).
2. Pull the parallel guide (27) out of
the holders (17).
Adjusting the parallel guide (Fig. B)
1. Loosen the retaining screws (19).
2. Set the scale on the parallel guide
(27) so that you can read the de-
sired cutting width on the mount
(17) marking.
3. Retighten the retaining screws
(19).
4. Make a test cut, check the cutting
width and correct the position of
the parallel guide (27) if necessary.

Notes
• You can set the following cutting
angles:
−45°; −22.5°; 0°; 22.5°; 45°
Procedure (Fig. C)
1. Switch off the device and remove
the battery. Make sure that all
moving parts have come to a com-
plete stop.
2. Remove the splinter guard (18).
3. Open the lever (24).
4. Push the footplate (13) forwards
slightly.
5. Adjust the footplate (13) to the de-
sired position.
6. Press the footplate (13) backwards
into one of the notches.
7. Close the lever (24) fix the posi-
tion.
External dust extraction
Connecting external dust extrac-
tion (Fig. D)
1. Disable the dust blower function
with the switch (23).
2. Slide the adaptor for external dust
extraction (12) as far as it will go
into the guide rail between the tool
and base plate (13).
3. Connect a suitable dust extraction
(not included) to the adaptor for
external dust extraction (12).
4. If the external dust extraction does
not fit, use the additional reducer
piece (11).
Removing external dust extraction
(Fig. D)
1. Remove the dust extraction from
the adaptor for external dust ex-
traction (12) or reducer piece (11).
