5c. Installation and start-up of the temperature option
Open the lid and connect the temperature probe using a cable gland (see sections 3C and 3D) and close the lid.

Rx calibration:
Calibration of the RedoX probe: recommended every 2 months
during the season the pool is in use.
Buffer:
Calibration using a buffer solution (465 mV buffer solutions).
Follow the 4-step instructions which appear on the screen (the
Step 1 / 4 screen corresponds to step 1).
Reset cal:
The Reset Cal option deletes all calibrations performed
previously.
Offset:
Manual calibration: with this method the probes can be
calibrated using 1 point (no buffer solution) – recommended only
in the case of small measurement differences.
Without removing the probe from the water, adjust the measure
displayed using the plus/minus buttons
to
the reference value (photometer or other measurement device).
Enter the password:
Go to Extra Settings and
Go to the Temperature menu,
Up Down Plus Minus
press OK
select Standard and press OK

to confirm the selection.
Smart:
This mode is based on the automatic mode, with its three
filtration intervals, but in this case the filtration times are
adjusted according to the temperature. To do this, two
temperature parameters are indicated: the maximum
temperature, above which the filtration times will be determined
by the time frames, and the minimum temperature, below
which the filtration will be reduced to 5 minutes, the minimum
operating time. Between these two temperatures, filtration time
is linear. Use the plus/minus buttons to configure the minimum
and maximum desired temperatures.
Antifreeze mode can be activated, which means the filtration
can be started if the water temperature drops below 2 °C.
To configure the start and stop times (up to 3 times can be
programmed), follow the Automatic mode instructions.

5d. Installation and start-up of the WiFi module
Open the lid and pierce the box with a 16.5 drill bit (see section 3D).

Pass the WiFi cable connector through this, position the cable gland.

Connect the white WiFi connector to the WiFi slot (see section 3C) and close the lid.

Turn the box off and on using the switch.

The Network menu appears automatically in the System settings menu.

Configure the WiFi connection in the box and on your telephone or on the website.

Network:
Once the WiFi module has been connected, restart your
equipment. In the System settings menu, the Network
option appears.
WiFi:
Select WiFi to scan the networks within reach of the
module. The search is done automatically. Select the
desired network that is within reach of the WiFi module.
• Only WiFi networks with a frequency of 2.4 GHz are
accepted by the module.
Password:
Enter the network password on the pop-in keyboard. Move
up and down using the up/down keys, and left or right
using the plus/minus keys. To select a letter, press OK.
Network AP name:
If the network is not found automatically, manually enter
the name and the password of the desired network.
System settings:
If you wish to configure the settings in more detail. By
default, leave DHCP = ON.
Status:
Verify the status of your connection. Display the
exchanges of data received from and sent to the servers.
• Once the module is connected to the WiFi network with
the two LEDs continuously on (fixed), you can register
yourself at poolwatch.hayward.fr or on the app Hayward
Poolwatch.
Make sure you have your Node ID (in the power module
menu) and follow the registration process.
You can scan the QR code and copy/paste it into the
registration form.
Once you have registered, you can supervise and manage
all the parameters in your box remotely
with Hayward PoolWatch.
