Instructions for care

Sanitary taps require special care. Therefore,
please observe the following instructions:
• Chrome-plated surfaces are sensitive
to lime-dissolving agents, acidic cleaning
agents and all kinds of abrasives.
• Never clean coloured surfaces with
abrasive, corrosive, or alcoholic agents.
• Only clean your taps with clear water and
a soft cloth or a shammy.
Surface damage is to be expected, if the care
instructions are not observed.
This makes any warranty claims invalid.
Do not forget to unscrew the mixing nozzle
in regular intervals and to remove possibly
calcareous residues or foreign matter. It is
advisable to replace the mixing nozzle with a
new one in the case of extreme contamination.

Replacing the cartridge

Please note that a cartridge is a wearing part
and must be replaced every 1-2 years, if the
water is extremely calcareous or dirty.
Please procure this from the dealer in your
vicinity.
1. Turn the general water supply of and allow
the water remaining in the pipes to drain.
2. Remove the sticker on the handle and un

screw the screws located below.
3. Remove the handle upwards.
4. Unscrew the chrome-plated ring.
5. Unscrew the brass ring located below with a

spanner and remove the entire cartridge
from the tap; insert the new cartridge into
the tap in exactly the same manner.
6. Ensure that the gasket under the cartridge is
correctly positioned and that the guides are
in the intended holes.
7. Reassemble all parts and do not forget to
tighten the ring above the cartridge. Tighten
the cartridge, in order to ensure leak-
tightness. If you tighten the ring too irmly
the handle can be diicult to move; in this
case loosen the ring slightly.
We recommend the installation of a ilter or at
least of an angle valve with ilter, in order to
avoid foreign matter, which could damage the
cartridge, getting into the tap.
