4.3 Mounting height
The distance between the rain gutter and the wall bracket must be greater than or equal to 10 cm.

4.4 Drill holes
WARNING
Risk of injury and damage to property.
All screw holes must be aligned vertically and
horizontally so that the awning hangs straight.
►Check the alignment before drilling if you are
not sure.
►The diameter and depth of the fixing holes
must be the same size as the bolts.

1. Drill the holes for the wall bracket [G-1] with a
Ø8 cm masonry drill bit.
2. Clean the drill holes.
Important: The holes must be drilled through a so-
lid brick or concrete to provide the necessary sta-
bility and support.
3. Remove the hexagon nut and washer, if not al-
ready done.
4. Press the bolts [G-3] into the drilled holes. You may
need to carefully tap the bolts [G-3] into the holes
with a soft-face hammer.
5. Check that the bolts [G-3] are firmly seated in
the drill holes but do not protrude more than
2.5 cm from the wall.
6. Place the wall bracket [G-1] on the threaded

10. Repeat steps 3 - 9 for the other wall brackets.
4.5 Fitting the folding arm awning to the wall
Note: At least 2 people and 2 stable ladders are
required to install the folding awning.
1. Attach the side elements [D-1, D-2] to the wall
