Trouble shooting
DANGER! Before maintenance work, bring the motor to a standstill and pull out the
mains plug!
If, after activating the machine by pressing «START» the run lamp is lit but all or part of the
motor is not running – check the following:
9 Is the power connection correct ?
9 Are the cables in a good condition and properly laid ?
9 Are the fuses in the control panel closed ?
9 Is the motor overload protection in the control panel closed?

The turbine motor is

The drive motor is
not working
The blast perfor-
mance
is too low
Possible cause
– Did the blasting box run
full of abrasive while
transporting the machi-
ne and is now blocking
the blast wheel?
– Is the motor protection
switch in the control pa-
nel closed?
– Is the fuse for the drive
unit in the control panel
closed?
– Does the drive wheel-
turn easily when not-
connected to the drive-
motor?
– Is the blast wheel rota-
ting in the right direc-
tion?
– Is the blast wheel worn
out?
– Has the shot cage been
adjusted correctly?
– Is the shot cage worn
out?
– Is the abrasive shot sie-
ve in the abrasive con-
tainer blocked?
– Is the shot valve blo-
cked?
– Is the abrasive shot
worn out? (Check the
grain size.)
Solution
– Close the abrasive valve
and allow the blasting box
to run empty.
– Switch on the motor protec-
tion switch.
– Sicherung schließen.
– Check the drive wheel and
ball bearings of the drive
hub.
– Check direction of rotation.
See arrow on belt guard.
– Change blst wheel.
– Adjust the shot cage.
– Change shot cage.
– Clean the sieve.
– Clean the valve.
– Change the abrasive shot
