4.2 Installing the control panel
Choose a suitable place for the control panel (Fig� 3)
in a clearly visible location�
Plan the power supply to the control panel and the
cable route to the gas box�
 The connector cable is 6 m long� A 5 m extension ca-
ble is available if necessary (part no� 34300-01)�
A surface-mounted frame (Fig� 3-9) can be used if

the control panel cannot be flush mounted� This is
available as an accessory (part no� 40000-06400)�
 To install two Truma control panels next to each oth-
er or one above the other, a cardboard installation
template and a line-up clip for the cover frame are
included with the delivery�
Mark the drilling hole� To do this, use the installation
template to determine the positions for the centre
hole and the fastening screws�
Drill a  55 mm hole (Fig� 3-3)�
Insert the 10-pole plug of the control panel cable
(Fig� 3-4) through the hole from behind and connect
it to the control panel�
Attach the back blank cover (Fig� 3-5) as strain relief�

Fasten the control panel (Fig� 3-6) with 4 suitable
screws (Fig� 3-7)� These screws are not included with
the delivery�
Attach the cover frame (Fig� 3-8)�
 Side parts can be attached to improve the appearance
of the cover frame (Fig� 3-10)� These are available as
accessories (part no� 34000-66800)�
