Step 4. Ge�ng in the wheelchair
The wheelchair should be located as close to the pa�ent as possible. The
wheelchair should touch the bed or other seat being used. If the user cannot
change their seat independently, transfer the user to the wheelchair.
Step 5. Posi�on of the user
The user should sit in an upright posi�on and their knees should be bent at the
angle of 90°.
The wheelchair is ready to use.

7. Cleaning and maintenance
Carry out the maintenance of the wheelchair components regularly:
• The upholstery and the cushion can be cleaned with damp (not wet) cloth
and cold or warm water, without the use of detergents. Difficult stains can
be cleaned with a sponge. Do not soak the upholstery too much. Dry away
from heat sources.
• Plas�c elements should be cleaned with damp cloth possibly with the use
of appropriate detergents for plas�c elements. In such case follow the
instruc�ons given by the producer and safety measures.
