The steps to be carried out are shown as a numbered list as follows:

If instructions describe only a single work step, they are not numbered. If the order of instruc-
tions is not mandatory, they are introduced with a dot:

When citing lists, the same applies as for instructions without any order. In addition, there is a
second level with a dot and the lists can be used to complete sentences:
