TO STRAIGHTEN (FIG. 3)
• Take a lock of hair (about 5 cm wide) and place it between
the plates.
• Close and slide the plates through the entire strand from
root to tip.
• Repeat this operation until you have finished with all the
hair.
• We recommend that you start with the hair in the lower
layers and continue with the upper layers for the best
results.
FOR STYLING (FIG. 4)
• For a wavy or curly look, the parting of the strands should
be vertical for a more natural curl fall.
• The strands should be very thick for a big, natural curl or
thinner for a small, romantic curl.
• Wrap each strand over the iron in a circular motion (like a
round brush) to create a wave or looped strand.
• Hold the tip of the hair and wrap the hair as you slide the
iron downwards.
IONIC FUNCTION
• The appliance can generate negative ions.
• Once the appliance is in operation, it automatically
activates the generation of negative ions, as indicated by
the icon on display. (Fig. 2).
• Negative ions are useful for removing static electricity and
hair frizz.
STANDBY FUNCTION
• For the purpose of energy saving and safety, the
appliance switches to the standby stage after 60 minutes
if no action has been taken by the user during this period.
The display will read "OFF".
• To return to normal operation, simply press the power
button (F) for 2 seconds.
ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED USING THE APPLIANCE
• To completely turn off the iron, the temperature lock must
be deactivated.
• Turn the appliance off by pressing the OFF button (F) for
about 2 seconds.
• Unplug the appliance from the mains.
• Wait for the appliance to cool down before putting it away.
• Clean the appliance.
CLEANING
• Disconnect the appliance from the mains and allow it to
cool before undertaking any cleaning task.
• Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few drops
of washing-up liquid and then dry it.
• Do not use solvents or products with an acid or base pH,
such as bleach, or abrasive products, for cleaning the
appliance.
• Do not let water or any other liquid get into the air vents to
avoid damage to the inner parts of the appliance.
• Never submerge the appliance in water or any other liquid
or place it under running water.
• If the appliance is not in good condition of cleanliness, its
surface may degrade and inexorably affect the duration
of the appliance's useful life and could become unsafe
to use.
