USE AND CARE
• Fully extend the appliance's power cable before each use.
• Do not use the appliance on wet hair.
• Do not use the appliance if the on/off switch does not
work.
• If you use the appliance in a bathroom or similar place,
unplug the appliance from the mains when it is not in
use, even if it is only for a short while. Proximity to water
involves risk, even if the appliance is disconnected.
• Disconnect the appliance from the mains when not in use
and before undertaking any cleaning task.
• Store this appliance out of reach of children and persons
with physical, sensory or reduced mental or lack of
experience and knowledge.
• Do not store the appliance if it is still hot.
• Never leave the appliance connected and unattended if
it is not in use. This saves energy and prolongs the life of
the appliance.
• Never rest the appliance on a surface while in use.
• Do not use the appliance with pets or animals.
• Do not use the appliance to dry textiles of any kind.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
BEFORE USE
• Please read the "Safety advice and warnings" booklet
carefully before first use.
• Make sure that all products' packaging has been
removed.
• This appliance is designed to shape, curl, tuck and pull
out ends, add volume and straighten hair.
• When the display shows "888", it means that the
appliance is working abnormally. Switch off the appliance
and switch it on again. If the LED display still shows "888",
the product is defective and needs service.
OPENING AND CLOSING THE APPLIANCE (FIG. 1)
• To close the appliance, close the plates and slide
the plate lock (C) to the closed position (towards the
appliance). The plates will be locked in the closed
position.
• To open the griddle, slide the lock in the opposite
direction. The plates will open.
USE
• Extend the cable completely before plugging it in.
• Plug the appliance into the mains, and the display (B) will
show "OFF", indicating that the appliance is on standby.
• Turn the appliance on by pressing the power button
(F) for about 2 seconds. You will hear a "Beep!".
The appliance will show the temperature on display,
indicating that the iron is preheating. (Fig. 2). The default
temperature is 180 ºC.
• Select a suitable temperature for your hair type by
pressing the temperature selector (E). The display shows
the type of temperature selected:
- "LOW" (100-170 ºC)
- "MEDIUM" (180-200 ºC)
- "HIGH" (210-220 ºC)
• It is advisable to use the lower temperatures for very fine,
dyed or damaged hair and to use higher temperatures for
curly, thick and difficult-to-manage hair.
• The selection order is ascending until reaching the
maximum position between 100 and 220 ºC with 10 ºC
intervals. If a lower temperature is desired, press the
temperature selector button "-" (E).
• During heating, the heating indicator on display (B)
(Fig. 2) next to the selected temperature will make an
intermittent upward movement repeatedly.
• This appliance is equipped with a professional high-
performance heating element and is ready for use in just
40 seconds. When the selected temperature has been
reached, the display indicator (B) will light up steadily, and
you will hear a "beep, beep!".
• Once the temperature has been selected, to lock it,
press the "-" button on the temperature selector (E) for
3 seconds, and a padlock will appear. To unlock the
temperature, press the "-" button of the temperature
selector (E) again, and the padlock will disappear.
• Create a straight or wavy hairstyle.
