General Notes
• Read the instructions carefully before beginning the installation
and carry out the actions as specified by the maker;
• The installation, programming, putting into operation and main-
tenance of the product must be carried out only by qualified
technical personnel, correctly trained with regard to respecting
the regulations in force, including the implementation of acci-
dent prevention measures;
• Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance operation, dis-
connect the device from the power supply;
• The equipment must be destined solely for the use for which it
was expressly designed.
• The manufacturer declines all liability for any damage as a result
of improper, incorrect or unreasonable use.

Installation
• The device must be installed on a DIN rail (EN 50022) in a specific
electrical panel.

Initialisation
The ETI-XIP interface has 2 Ethernet sockets in Switch configura-
tion, or the PC can be connected directly using a Cross cable.
Once the interface is powered, wait for the LED to display the "nor-
mal operation" configuration (see table).
Once the cable is connected and the PC is configured for connec-
tion to the interface, enter the following address in the browser
http://192.168.1.2

After a few moments, the web configuration page will appear that
will ask for user credentials, which have the factory configuration
of: Username: installer, Password: 112233.
For complete system configuration, refer to the "Programming
Manual".
DISPOSAL
Do not litter the environment with packaging material: make
sure it is disposed of according to the regulations in force in the
country where the product is to be used.
When the equipment reaches the end of its life cycle, avoid dis-
carding it within the environment.
