Emptying the Dust Container

1. Press the release button (1) and remove
the dust container (6) from the motor
unit (Picture C).
2. Lift the tab on the dust container lid to
remove the lid (9) (Picture D).
3. Empty the dust container into an open
trash can.
4. Wipe out the dust container with a dry
duster if necessary.

For thorough cleaning the dust con-
datiner can be rinsed under running
water. Allow to dry completely
before reassembling!
5. To close, first place the dust container lid
on the back of the dust container. Then
fold down to close the lid. It must click
into place.
6. When reinstalling, first place the bottom
edge of the dust container into the
recess on the motor unit. Then push the
dust container towards the motor unit
until it clicks into place.
Cleaning the metal and HEPA filter
1. Remove and open the dust container (6)
(see the "Emptying the dust container"
section – steps 1 and 2).
2. Pull the metal filter (7) together with the
HEPA filter (8) upwards out of the dust
container (Picture A). To do this, turn
the metal filter back and forth a little if
necessary to loosen it.
3. Pull the HEPA filter out of the metal
filter.
4. Tap out both filters and clean them, e.g.
with the cleaning brush provided.

For thorough cleaning the filters can
be rinsed under cold running water.
Allow to dry completely before
reassembling!

5. Reassemble the filters in reverse order
and push them into the dust container
as far as they will go.
6. Close the dust container and place it on
the motor unit (see the "Emptying the
dust container" section – steps 5 and 6).
Cleaning the roller
To make it easier to clean, the roller (15) can
be removed:
1. Slide the two latches (14) in the direction
of the arrow to release the cover (16)
(Picture E: 1.).
2. Remove the cover (Picture E: 2.).
3. To remove the roller, first lift it up on the
right side (Picture E: 3.).
4. Remove any dirt from the roller.

For thorough cleaning the roller
can be rinsed under running water.
Then allow it to dry for at least
24 hours. It must be completely
dry before reinserting!
5. If necessary, use the cleaning brush to
clean the recess for the roller.
6. To reinstall the roller and cover, proceed
in the reverse order:
○ Insert the left side of the roller first,
then press the right side into the
motor unit.
○ Place the cover onto the motor unit
with the rear edge first. Then press
the front down until it clicks into place
on both sides.
Storage
Store the device in a cool, dry place which is
protected from direct sunlight and is out of
the reach of children and animals.
