USING THE COOKING TIMER
• You can set the timer for one or more cooking zones, so that it switches off automatically when the time has passed.
The timer of each cooking zone can be set and displayed independently.
• The cooking zone switches off automatically when the timer has finished.
• While the cooking timer is switched on, press the slider control once to see the current power level. While the power level
is being displayed, you can change this with the slider control if necessary.
Setting the cooking timer for switching off one or more cooking zones.
1. Press the slider control of the cooking zone that you want
to switch off.
2. Set the time with the timer's controller.
• By pressing the + or - key of the timer controller once, the time
is shortened or increased by 1 minute.
• By holding the + or - key of the timer controller down, the time
is shortened or increased by 10 minutes.
3. When the cooking timer has been set, it starts to count down
immediately. The timer display shows the remaining time.
• In the display of the respective cooking zone, the clock symbol
is flashing.
4. When the cooking timer finishes, a sound signal can be heard and
the cooking zone is switched off automatically.
Caution: other cooking zones remain active when they have been switched on earlier.
Setting the cooking timer for several cooking zones
• The steps for setting several cooking zones are identical to the steps for setting one cooking zone:
When you set the time for several cooking zones at the same time, the clock symbol becomes visible at the respective
cooking zones. The clock symbol for the cooking zone with the shortest remaining time will flash and the remaining time
is shown on the display. See the example below:
• Once the cooking timer has finished, the respective cooking zone is switched off. Then the hob will show the next shortest
remaining time of the set cooking zones. The remaining time of the relevant cooking zone is shown in the display and the
clock symbol is flashing in the display of the respective cooking zone. See the example below:
Cancelling a set cooking timer
1. Press the slider control of the cooking zone of which you want
to cancel the cooking timer.
2. Hold down the - key of the timer controller until the time is 00
and the cooking timer will be cancelled.
