operating the hob
Only use pans that are suitable for an induction hob.
After connecting the induction hob to the electrical system, it is possible that the entire display lights up for a short moment.
When this is over, the induction hob is standby and ready for use.
The induction hob works by means of electronic sensors that are operated by touching the corresponding touch controls
or sliders. At each touch of a touch control, you can hear a sound signal. Control the power by gently moving your finger over
the slider.
START COOKING
1. Briefly press the on/off key. The appliance switches on and a sound
signal can be heard. All displays show [ -- ] and the induction hob
is stand-by.
2. Place a suitable pan on the cooking zone you wish to use.
• Ensure that the bottom side of the pan and the cooking zone
are clean and dry.
3. Press the slider control, the power is shown.
4. Select the required power by pressing the slider control.
• If no power is selected within 1 minute, the induction hob switches
off automatically. In that case, start again at step 1.
• The power can be adapted at any time during the cooking process.
USING THE BOOST FUNCTION
Switching on the boost function
1. Press the slider control.
2. Press B - boost and check that the display shows [P].
Switching off the boost function
3. Press the slider control of the cooking zone of which you want
to switch off the boost function.
4. Select the required power with the slider control in order
to continue cooking without the boost function.
CAUTION:
• The Boost function provides extra power and can be set for all zones.
• The maximum time of the Boost function is 10 minutes, then the power automatically drops back to the original setting.
• If the original setting is 0, the Boost function will go back to position 15.
