tailplane - as this will seriously weaken the structure.

Using a sharp knife, carefully trim off any excess covering
film from the tailplane seat as shown. Temporarily band on
the wing to help align the tail in the next stage.

Using sufficient epoxy applied to the exposed wood, glue
the tailplane and fin assembly onto the fuselage. Check that
the tailplane is correctly aligned and square to the fuselage.
If necessary, use masking tape to protect the covering
(removing it as soon as you are satisfied with the alignment
and before the epoxy cures).

The wing is supplied with the wing tips attached, but requiring
their dihedral angle to be introduced. Begin the process by
trimming away the covering film from the gap between the
wing and tip on the top side only. Remove the two balsa
wedges temporarily fitted between the wing and the tip.
