Troubleshooting Milk Froth Preparation

Milk steam cycle does not start.
Quality of froth not up to standard.
Steam is very wet.
Milk overflows.
Milk temperature is too hot.
Milk temperature is not hot enough.
Clean Steam Wand alert is displayed.

- Check if the water tank is correctly positioned,if empty,
fill with freshpotable water.
- Check steam tip for any blockagesand ensure wand is lowered.
- Foroptimal milk froth, use whole or semi skimmedUHTor pasteurised
milk at refrigerated temperature (about 4-6 °C /39-43 °F).
Fora better result,the milk should be newly opened.
- Check the milk froth setting.
- Use fresh, potable water.
Do not use highly filtered, demineralisedor distilledwater.
- Fill jug with appropriate milk volume. DO NOT fill above the MAX level.
- Minimum and maximum levels are marked on the inside and outside
of the jug.
- Use the milk jug provided.
- Check the milk jug is positionedcorrectly on the milk jug temperature
sensor inthe drip tray .
- Check the temperature sensorin the drip tray is dry and clean.
- Preheat cup.
- Use the providedmilk jug.
- Check the milk jug is positionedon the temperature sensor
in the drip tray.
- Clean the steam wand.
- Use the providedmilk jug.
- Clean both the milk jug and steam wand after each use.
- Complete Steam Wand Cleaning Cycle. Navigate tothe MENU
and select Clean SteamWand, follow the on-screenprompts.
- To stop overflow, either reduce the initial volume of milk and/or
reduce the frothlevel. This varies depending on milk type.
- Decrease the milk temperature setting.
- Increasethe milk temperature setting.
- Check the steam tip for blockages.
- Navigate to the Menu and select Clean Steam Wand.
Follow the on-screen prompts.
