11.4 Plug the power supply cord into the
electric socket.
11.5 Turn on the appliance, setting the
temperature to the MAX level (5).
11.6 Wait until the MAX symbol shown on the
digital display stops flashing and remains on.
11.7 Then unplug the power supply cord from
the electric socket again.
11.8 Hold the device horizontally around 15
cm from a receptacle/bowl and hold down
the Self Clean button to begin the cleaning
cycle (10-11). Shake the iron lightly to better
empty the tank.
11.9 When the tank is empty, release the Self
Clean button.
11.10 Plug the power supply cord into the
electric socket.
11.11 Turn on the appliance, setting the
temperature to the MAX level.
11.12 When the iron is ready (the MAX symbol
on the display stops flashing and stays on),
lightly shake it over a cloth, so as to remove
any water drops which may still be on the
plate.
11.13 Turn off the appliance and unplug it from
the electric socket.
11.14 Wait until it has fully cooled before
putting it away.
12. GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Except when running the Self Clean cycle,
always unplug the appliance from the power
mains before conducting any maintenance
upon it, making sure that the product has
cooled down before proceeding.
To clean the outside of the appliance, use only
a damp cloth.
Do not use detergents of any kind.
Clean the iron soleplate when it is completely
cold with a damp cloth or with a non-abrasive
sponge.
13. STORAGE
13.1 Turn off the appliance and unplug it from
the mains electricity.
13.2 Empty the water tank, turning the
appliance upside down over a receptacle/
bowl (12).
13.3 Wait for the appliance to cool down
completely before storing it.
