Functions of the handle bar control unit

A Switch the system on and off
B & C Change the peddling assistance level

The e-bike will switch off automatically when
it is not used for over 10 minutes.
A Switch the system on and off
Use the on/off button (A) to switch the system on and off. You can switch
the system on and off at any moment, even while cycling. To switch on,
press the on/off button for one second. To switch off, press the on/off
button for three seconds. When the system is switched on, the lights go on
immediately and the pedal assistance is set to level 0.
B and C Change the peddling assistance level
You can set the peddling assistance level using the + and – buttons (B en
C). There are five peddling assistance levels. You can always indicate with
the + and – buttons whether you want more or less peddling assistance.
The peddling assistance is by default set to level 0. When putting away the
bicycle it is important to set the peddling assistance to 0.
If you keep the + button pressed down, the boost function / parking
assistance is activated. See §2.2.
If the pedal assistance is switched on (see point A above), then the lights
are also switched on automatically. See §2.3.
D Peddling assistance level display
The peddling assistance level is displayed on the handle bar control unit
by means of five LEDs (D). The lowest block is level 1; the topmost block is
level 5. In level 5, you get the most assistance.
