14. Small parts of this device (i.e. battery, battery cover) may cause
choking if inhaled or swallowed. Keep the thermometer away from
young children.
15. This thermometer is not intended to substitute for a consultation
with your physician.
16. Please consult your doctor if the thermometer shows elevated
temperature.
17. Please consult your doctor if you see symptoms such as
unexplained irritability, vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration, changes in
appetite or activity, seizure, muscle pain, shivering, stiff neck, pain
when urinating, etc.
18. If any serious incident has occurred in relation to the device, it
should be reported to the manufacturer and the competent authority
of the Member State in which the user and/or patient is established.
19. Do not touch the probe lens. A dirty probe lens may cause
inaccurate results.
20. For proper hygiene and prevention of potential cross contamination,
do not re-use probe covers. A damaged probe cover may result in
error display or inaccurate results.
21. The measuring result may differ from left to right ear.
22. Take measurement with the untreated ear if ear drops or ear
medications have been applied in the ear canal.
23. Do not forcibly insert the probe into the ear if the ear is too small to
insert the probe.
24. For accurate results, please always use the probe cover when
operating the thermometer. The reuse would be inaccurate without
probe cover.
