infrared (IR) technology to measure temperature instantly and
accurately.
Before using this product, please read the following contents thoroughly
and carefully.

INTENDED USE

® ®
ri-thermo tymPRO / ri-thermo tymPRO+ tympanic thermometer is
intended for the intermittent measurement and monitoring of human
body temperature from the ear canal. The device is intended for use of
all ages for professional use by one with a good understanding of the
operation instruction.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

There are no known contraindications for the thermometer, although
care should be taken when considering using the device according to
the warnings, precautions, and limitation of use.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

The thermometer measures the infrared heat generated by the eardrum
and its surrounding tissue.
The thermometer then converts it into a temperature value shown on
LCD.
NOTE:
The thermometer does not emit any infrared signal.
