2. OPERATION
2.1 OPEN/REMOVE THE PROTECTIVE LENS CAP
• The objective lens is protected from dirt by a cap.
• To open, pull the cover slightly forward and flip the cap onto
the underside of the spotting scope.
• To remove, unscrew the protective lens cap to the left
(counterclockwise).

2.2 REMOVE BAYONET MOUNT PROTECTIVE CAP
2.3 ATTACHMENT AND DETACHMENT OF THE EYEPIECE
• Remove the protective cap for the bayonet from the eye-
piece by screwing it to the left (anti-clockwise).
• Align the marking on the eyepiece with the marking on the
bayonet fitting.
• Insert the eyepiece and turn it to the right (clockwise) until the
locking mechanism of the body clicks into the eyepiece.
To remove the cap, slide the eyepiece
lock on the base body forward (in
the direction of the lens) and twist the
bayonet mount protective cap to the left
(counterclockwise).
