Safety instructions for assembly
Depending on when and under which environmental conditions you mount
the actuator, special safety aspects must be taken into account.

WARNING
Before installing or repairing an actuator, all affected
devices/machines/systems must be switched off and, if necessary,
disconnected from the power network!
WARNING
When replacing a potentiometer or limit switch, the effect on the firing setting
must be checked! If necessary, the firing setting must be adjusted.
WARNING
The electric actuator must not fall or receive blows on the output shaft. The
output shaft is directly connected to the gearbox. An impact on the output shaft
damages/destroys the gearbox.
WARNING
Carefully remove/attach the cover of the actuator. Be careful when removing
and putting on the cover (especially the metal cover). Components can be
damaged or destroyed when striking the connection board.
The actuator may only be installed and commissioned by qualified
specialists who have sound mechanical as well as electrical knowledge!
Secure your workplace and make sure that the
devices/machines/equipment you are working on cannot be put into
operation unintentionally!
When installing or repairing an actuator, the applicable safety and
accident prevention regulations of the employers' liability insurance
association must be observed!
Before assembly/repair, make sure that the safety devices are functioning
correctly!
