5.2Method A — Topspeed s earching of brands
Please take a look to the remote,each keyhas
a brand over or underthe key.Theseare the
brands preprogrammed oneachkeyto help
you to set up your remotewith only one key.
For example:the "TEMP"A keyis for LGand
Samsung.
• Manuallyturn on the air conditioner,and
point the remote controltowardsthe
receptionwindow of the air conditioner.
• Press the keycorrespondingto your air
conditioner brand until the air conditioner
automatically a ctivates w ith a "beep"sound.
5.3 Method B—Fully automatic search
applicable model
• Manuallyswitchon the air conditionerand
point the remote controlto the receiving
window of the air conditioner.
• Keeppressingthe "Set" button for about 6
seconds.Carefullyobservethe statusof the
air conditioner when the model code " —
flickers the window.Only releasethe button
when the air conditionerstartsautomatically.
• Check whether the button function is correct.
If yes,the codewould be valid. If not, please
repeatthe step2-3.
Note
If you could not switch on the device
manually,repeatsteps1 to 3 with the
deviceswitchedoff. Somebrandsaccept
the codesearchingbut the processcould
take up to 5 min.
5.4 Method C—Manual code inputting
method
• Manually switch on theair conditioner, find
the modelcorrespondingto the air condi-
tioner you are about to control remotely•n
"CodeList"andfindthefirstgroupof codes.
• Firstlykeep pressing"Set" button and then
press"Power" button at the sametime.
Don't release the two buttons until the
model code flickers in the window.
press"TempA" button until the code
needed is shown in the window and flickers.
The air conditionerwill automaticallystart If
the code is correct.
• Check whether the function of the various
buttonsis correct.If yes,the setting is
finished. If not, pleaserepeatstep 2-3.
5.5 Method D —Manual code searching
method
• Manually switch on theair conditioner and
point the remote controlto the receiving
window of the air conditioner.
• Firstly keeppressing " Set"buttonandpress
"Power" button at the same time. Do not
release them when the model code flickers
in the window.Thenpress"TempA" button
and carefullyobservethe statusof your air
conditioner. Press"Set" button for exit when
the air conditionerautomaticaly starts.
6. Reset to default
Restore factorysettings: synchronously press
"Set""+ "Wind9" buttonfor3 seconds a nd
thenfactory settings restoring isdone.
7. Special functions
7.1 Rapid cooling and rapid heating button
• Press "COOL" (fast cooling)button to auto-
matically setthe coolingmode: 210C, s trong
breeze, automatic wind.
• Press "HEAT"(fast heating)button to
automatically settheheatingmode: 270C,
strongbreeze,automatic wind.
Underthe heating mode,press"HEATING"
(ElectricAuxiliaryHeating)button to start
the electric heatingfunction. Thisfunction
is only availableif the air conditioner hasa
eating function.
7.2 TimingONand OFF function
The remote control takes over the timer
functon of the original remotecontrol.After
pressing"TIME ON" or "TIME OFF"button,
thetimingindicator o f theair conditioner will
be lighted up, indicating that it has entered
timing status.
7.3 Child-lock function setting
Locking: press"Set" button and "Manual
Wind
screen will display "Child-lock" I con a.
Unlocking: press"Set" button and "Auto-
matic W'nd
"Child-lock" i con onthedisplay screen will
disappear.
7.4 Clock function setting
• Keeppressingthe "Set" button and "Mode"

ng digitbegings to flicker, i t means it has
enteredclocksetting.
• Press "TEMP
for 1 hourincreasing ( decreasing). Youcan
keeppressingfor 2 seconds for continuous
ncrease or decrease.
• Press " Set"button for hour-setting completion.
• At this point, the digit the minutecorresponds
to beginto flicker.Youmayuse"TempA"
"Temp V") button for nmnute setting.
• After minutesetting, press"Set" button to
exlt the clocksetting.
