1. Important information
Before using the ultraCOMBI-STRETCHER, please read the operating manual and safety instruc-
tions carefully. Keep the operating manual in a safe place to avoid operating errors.
Should you require further information or encounter difficulties in its use or maintenance,
please contact your local dealership or ultraMEDIC GmbH & Co. KG directly. Always specify the
serial number to identify the ultraCOMBI-STRETCHER.
1.1 Liability and Warranty
The manufacturer grants a warranty period of 24 months on this product. The warranty only
encompasses the costs of the spare parts. Shipping or wage costs are not subject to warranty.
1.2 User groups
This product may only be used by qualified, expert personnel. A prerequisite is theoretical and
practical experience in handling the ultraCOMBI-STRETCHER.

3. Application
The ultraCOMBI-STRETCHER is a combined spine board and scoop stretcher used to immobi-
lise injured persons who may have suffered a spinal fracture.

Before and after every use, check the components and patient
restraining belts for damage and completeness.
Ensure that the patient restraining belts are correctly installed.
Before initial use, conduct a test run with an empty ultraCOM-
BI-STRETCHER.
In the event of damage or suspected damage to the straps or the
ultraCOMBI-STRETCHER, remove the product from operation imme-
diately until any occurring irregularities have been remedied.
A specialist medical assessment must be conducted before the
injured party is moved, lifted or transported.
To ensure the patient's safety, at least 2 users are required to
operate the ultraCOMBI-STRETCHER.
The injured party must be immobilised on the ultraCOMBI-STRETCH-
ER during every use. Insufficient or no restraint may lead to severe
patient or rescuer injuries.
