The latches must always audibly lock into place. For safety reasons,
subject the latches to a test by pulling at the appropriate point. Ensure that the injured party's
breathing is not encumbered by the traction of the straps.

4. Care and maintenance
Use a mild soap and warm water to clean the ultraCOMBI-STRETCHER and the straps.
For disinfection, you can use commercially available, alcohol-based agents. Other solutions
or cleansing chemicals may damage the material and weaken the straps of the ultraCOM-
BI-STRETCHER.
The snap locks may not be dismantled for cleaning purposes. After cleaning the locks with a
mild soap and warm water, they do not require additional lubrication.
5. Maintenance
In order to ensure the safety of the user and the injured party during a rescue mission, we
recommend that you have the ultraCOMBI-STRETCHER and straps visually inspected by an
expert on an annual basis.

The following parts must be checked and the following defects must be excluded:
Base plate: deformation, tears, breaks, loosened screws, broken parts
Karabiners: impaired function, deformation, torsion, tears and breaks
Straps: Cutting and abrasion points, intact seams, tissue-damaging stains
Metal parts: Rust and oxidation

In the event of damage or suspected damages, remove the product
from operation immediately until any occurring irregularities have been
remedied.
