FEATURES
1. Easy pick-up of stereo sounds
Two uni-directional microphone units are built in with an angle of
120° between their axes of directivity. Carrying and setting of the
microphone are very easy while well-balanced sounds are picked up.
2. Wind screen preventing wind noise
The sound pick-up unit is protected with a double wind screen
which reduces wind noise and breathing which would affect the
sound being picked up outdoors or with the microphone held
close to the mouth. Setting the switch at VOCAL will further
reduce the effect of wind noise.
3. Signal-off/tone switch
The signal-off switch is combined with a tone switch which
allows you to select either MUSIC or VOCAL according to the
type of sound to be picked up.
4. Input attenuator switch (PAO)
An input attenuator switch provided inside the grip is to attenuate
the input level by 1 0dB to prevent distortion when loud sounds
are to be picked up.
5. Separate transformers
Two separate transformers are built in so that the microphone will
not short-circuit the ground circuits of the
L
and R channels
of audio equipment to which it is connected.
6. Excellent sound qualitv
The carefully selected microphone units and low noise FET
amplifier assure the pick-up of high quality sound over a wide
range of frequencies.
