SAFETY INFORMATION

SAFE ASSEMBLY
•
Read the instructions before assembly, installation or use.
•
The installation area of the appliance must comply with applicable regulations.
•
This appliance is designed exclusively for outdoor use.
•
The gas pipe must be screwed and tightened using pliers.
•
Check that there is no smell of gas or hissing sound which would indicate a poor connection.
•
The length of the pipe between the equipment and the LPG gas pipe must not exceed
1.50 m.
•
The gas pipe must be changed regularly, according to the date shown on the pipe.
•
The gas cylinder must be located at least 50 cm from the plancha grill.
•
The place where the appliance is used must be free from liquid or solid explosive
substances (products made from wood and chemical, oil or plastic materials, and fabric
such as curtains or clothes).
•
The appliance must be placed on a flat, stable surface that can withstand the heat emitted
by the plancha grill.
SAFE OPERATION
The appliance must only be used by people who have read and understood this user manual.
SAFE MAINTENANCE
•
When cleaning the appliance, we recommend that you use water and a food-grade
detergent, or a cleaning product specially designed for cleaning plancha grills.
•
The appliance must be cleaned when it is switched off. Never use explosive chemical
substances when the appliance is switched on.
•
If handling the plancha grill, close the gas intake valve of the gas cylinder and disconnect
the gas pipe.
SAFETY PROCEDURES IN CASE OF A GAS LEAK OR FIRE
•
If a fire breaks out, for whatever reason, calmly close the gas valve located on the cylinder
and turn off the control knobs located on the front of the plancha grill. If necessary, use a
suitable fire extinguisher. Do not use water to put out the fire as this may cause the flames
to spread even more quickly.
•
If you smell gas, close the gas valve on the gas cylinder, switch off the control knobs
located on the front of the appliance and any other installations likely to stop the gas
leak. Ventilate the area if necessary. Next, check the sealing properties and condition of
the connections between the gas cylinder and the plancha grill. Contact our technical
department if necessary.
