• Reinstall the split wedge.
• Install the split wedge so that the gap between the saw blade and the split wedge is
3-8 mm.
• The split wedge must be mounted centrally on a line behind the saw blade.
• Avoid binding of the workpiece by correct assembly.
• The split wedge must not be wobbly and must be mounted straight.
• Tighten the screws on the split wedge.
• Insert the table insert and tighten the countersunk screws of the table insert.
• Mount the saw blade guard..
After each blade change, check that the saw blade guard opens and closes
properly. Check that the saw blade runs freely in the saw blade guard. Never
operate the device with a blade that has been glued or the saw blade guard
that has not been properly mounted!
After each saw blade change, check that the saw blade
is tilted in the vertical position and at an angle of 45°, and that it runs freely in
the table insert.
Connect the suction device
The device is equipped with an extraction adapter for chips.
• Connect the connection of your suction device to the suction adapter. See (14), p.1 1
or figure 1 1 next page.
• The suction adapter can be found on the running guard (34), p.17.
Operate the unit with suction only! Sawdust can damage your health. Addition-
ally, wear an appropriate dust mask.
