Setting parameters in the menu (Continuation)
Setting the output deactivation delay
The deactivation delay causes the output to be turned off
only some time after the reference marking leaves the
acquisition range.
This enables slower interfaces to capture shorter pulses as
well.

Procedure
1. Open the "MEnu" menu (see key functions).
2. Select menu item "dlOF".
3. Press the SET key to activate programming.
The previously set value is displayed, e.g. "dl00".
4. Use the + and – keys to increase or decrease the
value. Value range: 0...100 ms in steps of 1 ms.
The DELAY-LED comes on as soon as a value not
equal to zero is set.
5. Save the value by pressing the SET key
Setting PNP or NPN
The digital output can be configured as PNP or NPN.
Factory default setting: PNP
Procedure
1. Open the "MEnu" menu (see key functions).
2. Select menu item "_PnP" or "_nPn" (depending on the
previous setting).
3. Use the SET key to change the previously set output
type.
Setting read direction on the display
Factory default setting: Display up.
Procedure
1. Open the "MEnu" menu (see key functions).
2. Select "dSUP" or "dSdn" (depending on the previous
setting).
3. Use the SET key to change the previously set display
direction.

Turning the display on and off
To reduce power consumption the display can be turned off
during normal operation. If a key is pressed however, the
display automatically turns on for 5 s.
Factory default setting: Display on.
Procedure
1. Open the "MEnu" menu (see key functions).
2. Select "dSOn" or "dSOF" (depending on the previous
setting).
3. Use the SET key to change the previously set function.
Saving values
Use either of these methods:
– Menu item "SAVE"
– Automatically if neither "SAVE" nor "rSEt" has been
activated within 30 s.
Procedure
1. Save values.
2. Select "SAVE".
3. Save the previously set values by pressing the SET key.
