Make sure all closures are unusable, remove the door(s) and dispose of them separately.
Chemical risk warning: Don't let children play with old appliances.
Contact your corresponding municipal authority to find out about the scrapping procedure.
• Before disposing of an old appliance, please make sure it is turned off and safe. Unplug the
appliance and break any locks to prevent children from becoming trapped.
• Please note: The cooling system contains gas and refrigerants which require specialized
waste management.
• You can contribute to environmental awareness by insisting on appropriate and non-pollut-
ing disposal methods.
• Do not allow pets and children to play with the packaging and dispose of plastic bags
safely.
• You can tear up the cardboard or cut it into smaller pieces and recycle it. The wrappers are
made of polyethylene. Polyethylene padding and filling do not contain fluorinated hydro-
carbons and as such are suitable for recycling.
WARNING! To prevent children from being locked inside when playing, if this appliance is
used to replace another one that has a lock:
• Break or remove the closure as a safety precaution before storing it.
• Remove the doors.
• Leave the shelves in place so children cannot climb them easily.
• Cut the connection cable as close to the appliance as possible.
• If this appliance, with a magnetic door seal, is to replace an old appliance that has a spring
latch on the door or lid, please make the spring latch unusable before discarding the old
appliance. This will reduce the risk of children or animals becoming trapped inside.
