• Profile B is pushed by means of the sliding block into
the later groove of profile A. Both scales must face
inward (Fig. 1B).
• Profiles A and B must be connected via the later
screw D. Install the remaining profiles in the same
way (Fig. 2).
• The two "L"-shapes are joined in the same way as
the individual profiles to the complete template
and secured with the lateral screw D (Fig. 2).
• The template is pushed together at profile A and
profi le B is aligned (Fig. 3).
5. ATTACHING THE TEMPLATE
The template can be attached using G-clamps ref. 6045710
(optional accessory). Insert the arm of the G-clamp into slot
A (Fig. 4) of the template profile.
6. ADJUSTING THE TEMPLATE (Fig. 5)
• Dimension A is set by releasing the screws A and shifting
the profiles in arrow direction A. When the desired dimension
has been achieved, lock the screws again.
• Dimension B is set by releasing the screws B and shifting
profile in arrow direction B. When the desired dimension
has been achieved, lock the screws again.
• For the actual setting dimension of the template,
an additional dimension Z must be added to dimension A
and B: Z = D (copying ring diameter) - d (router diameter)
(Figs. 6A-6B).
7. LOWER STOPPER ASS'Y
With the lower stopper ass'y, the template can be aligned
or parallel shifted on the workpiece. They are inserted in
the lower groove of the profile.
8. TILT PROTECTION
The tilt protection A is inserted in the copying ring for large
surface cuts B (Fig. 7). The height differential between router
table and workpiece is thus compensated, allowing tilt-free
guidance of the router on the template C (Fig. 8). The tilt
protection can be used with copying rings of diameters 20,
23, 27 and 30 mm.
9. CIRCLE ROUTING
Proceed as described below to prepare the template for
circular routing.
• The circle routing insert is inserted in the inner
groove of the profile A. Then the profiles are pushed
together (Fig. 9).
• The circle routing insert must be pushed into one of
the limit positions where the screws B must be secured.
Repeat this for the opposite side (Fig. 9).
• The centring C mandrel is inserted into the inside
groove as far as the stop and screw fitted (Fig. 10).
• In the midpoint of the circle to be routed, an 8-mm
hole is drilled into which the centring mandrel is
inserted (Fig. 11).
• The circle routing insert must be set to the desired
radius depending on the router D used (Fig. 12).

• Mount the router with a 30-mm copying ring and
move over the radius (Fig. 13).
10. FITTING THE PF200 - PF700 EXTENSION KITS
(Optional acc.)
You can increase the length of the sides of the template
by adding 2 or more extension kits, which are supplied as
optional accessories.
Insert the extension bolts B into the top grooves A of the
profile. Tighten studs C once the profiles are assembled by
their joint faces (Fig. 14A - 14B)
11. BASE ADAPTER (Optional acc.)
For jobs where you need to route inside a large working area,
a base adapter is a useful accessory for the template (Fig. 15).
To fit the base adapter, insert tightening nut A into the front
groove of the template profile (Fig. 16). You can slide the
base adapter along the profile and place it in the correct
position using the millimetre gauge on the profile and the
marker index B of the adapter (Fig. 17).
Once the base adapter is in the correct position, fix it in
place by tightening handle C (Fig. 15).
12. WARRANTY
All VIRUTEX products have 12 month guarantee valid from
the date of supply. All damages caused by bad handling or
natural wear of the machine are excluded.
For any repair, contact the official VIRUTEX after-sales
service.

GABARIT DE FRAISAGE PF400 - PF700
Avant d'utiliser le gabarit lisez attentivement ce
manuel d'instructions et les instructions générales
de sécurité. Assurez-vous de bien avoir tout
compris avant de commencer à travailler avec
le gabarit. Porter des lunettes de protection
pour travailler avec la défonceuse sur le gabarit
de fraisage.
N'utilisez jamais de fraises incorrectes, défec-
tueuses ou en mauvais état avec le gabarit. On
recommande d'utiliser uniquement des fraises
et des pièces de rechange originales VIRUTEX.
Gardez toujours ces deux manuels d'instructions
à portée de la main pour pouvoir les consulter,
en cas de besoin.
