COMPUTERS AND S-VHS
VIDEO RECORDERS
1.
Ensure your equipment is connected to the correct
scart socket, i.e. Avi socket for computers, and Av2
socket for S-VHS video recorders.
2.
if your computer has an equivalent scart socket, then
simply operate according to the computers
instructions to view.
PLEASE NOTE: S-VHS equipment will not operate this
way, even if it has an equivalent scart connector.
Therefore, for computers which have to have an adapted
lead supplied, and for S-VHS equipment, proceed as
follows:-

Press a programme number not already assigned to
aT.V. broadcast.

Press the ©) button on handset to display the AV
menu shown.
3.
Press G@) button to display the second AV menu as
shown.

Press the green coloured button to select
of
display (computer inputs to AV1 socket), or yellow
coloured button to select SAv2 (S-VHS inputs to AV2
socket).
To store your selection, keep holding down the
coloured button until G53) or SAv2 in the bottom line
of menu turns white.
5.
Switch on your external equipment, and operate as
required to view.
6.
To return to normai T.V. operation, press any
programme number using handset buttons 0 - 9.
NOTE: if you have used the above procedure, and stored
computer inputs fed via AV1 socket onto the programme
number chosen in step 1, then to store S-VHS inputs fed
via AV2 socket, repeat steps 4 - 6, using a different
programme number.
Remember to select the correct programme number
chosen in step 1 every time you wish to view inputs from
your computer or S-VHS equipment.
IMPORTANT: When viewing normal T.V. broadcasts or
teletext, we recommend that any RGB/computer
equipment connected to the scart sockets should be
switched off.
