Low battery voltage is indicated on the display by
a battery symbol.
ATTENTION!
As soon as a battery symbol with a half-full battery
appears, the batteries in the battery compartment
on the back of the device must be replaced.
Replace the batteries with 4 new AA mignon
•
cells (alkaline).
NOTE!
If the batteries have been replaced, the warm-up
time after switching on is 3 minutes.
Alternatively, the device can also be operated with
4 rechargable AA batteries.

To charge the battery, connect the device to
the mains via the mains adapter. To do this,
insert the plug of the mains adapter into the
mains adapter socket on the underside of the
device, see Fig. 1 part 7.
When the device is switched on, a battery symbol
flashes on the display during the charging pro-
cess. Once charging is complete, the battery sym-
bol disappears from the display.
WARNING!
Danger to life from electric current!
Never touch the mains plug with wet hands!
Keep the power supply unit away from moisture!
Do not pull the power supply unit out of the socket
by the cable, as it could tear!
Only operate the power supply unit if the electri-
cal voltage specified on the rating plate matches
that of the socket outlet!
The batteries can be charged while they are in the
device. The device can be operated while the bat-
teries are charging in the device.
