Switch on/off

NOTE!
Switch on the device in a non-contaminated envi-
ronment, e.g. outdoors.
To do this, press and hold the on/off button for

approx. 3 seconds.
The firmware version is then briefly shown on the
display.
The warm-up time lasts 30 seconds. During this
time, a countdown appears on the display. The
warm-up time is automatically extended as follows
if the appliance has not been used for a longer pe-
riod of time:

≤ 6 days
˃ 6 days
˃ 16 days
˃ 31 days
˃ 51 days
After inserting batteries
At the end of the warm-up time, a beep sounds to
indicate that the device is ready to measure.
To switch off, press and hold the on/off button
•
for approx. 4 seconds.
The device counts down for 3 seconds and then
switches off.
NOTE!
If the Wöhler RL 300 has not been used for a
longer period of time, it is recommended that the
calibration phase be run several times in order to
achieve a higher sensitivity and measuring accu-
racy.
To do this, switch the appliance on 2 to 3
•
times and then off again after approx. 3 minu-
tes.
