Sensor zeroing

After switching on, as described under point 8
"Automatic switch-off" is always activated. The
appliance switches off automatically after 20
minutes if no button has been pressed.
To deactivate the automatic switch-off, switch
•
the Wöhler RL 300 on by pressing the M
button and the Power button simultaneously
for approx. 3 seconds.
An "n" will then appear briefly at the bottom right of
the display before the version message. Automatic
shutdown is now deactivated.
After switching off and on again as described under
point 8 the automatic switch-off function is
reactivated.
To avoid the influence of background concentra-
tions of other gases or refrigerants in the environ-
ment, the Wöhler RL 300 automatically zeros the
sensor. In this case, the device only warns if it de-
tects a higher concentration than the ambient con-
centration.
NOTE!
At low refrigerant concentrations, sensor zeroing
increases the sensitivity of the device. If the refrig-
erant concentration is high, sensor zeroing re-
duces the sensitivity.
