Assembling the chassis
Placethechassis ring upside downona stable
Surface.
Drive the shafts With the ribbed end into the
holes marked with the number 3 on the chassis
ring.
Thepushthewheelsin as far as theywill go.
Turnlhe collecting bin upside down(i.e.
openingfacingthofloor).
Placethechassis ring onlhe collecting bin in
such cr manner thal one of the castor wheels
slanddirectlyin linewith thesuction socket.
Thenpressthechassis ring firmlyuntilit snaps
into place.
Fitting the motor block
Placethemotorblockontothecollectingbin,
makingsuretholtheoperatingswitchlies
directly in line with themiddle of the suction
socket. L aslly, s ecure themotorblockby
meansof both snapfasteners.
Connecting the flexible hose
Firmlyinserttheflexiblehosein thesuction
socket and turn the hose until the button clicks
intoplaceand themarkings on boththe
suction socket a nd thehoseconnecting piece
correspond. (Remove l he hoseby turningthe
hoseconnecting pieceand slowlywithdraw-
ing the hose).
Operating the appliance

Undo the remove the motor
blockfromthecoltectiong binand turnover.
Secure thecartridgefiller by thepre•mounted
retaining clips.
Place thenewcartridgefilterin an upright
positiononthemotorflangeandgentlybut
firmlyslideit intoplaceon thefiltermounting.
Thepre-movnted retaining c lipsautomatically
snap intoplace, thus securing thecartridge
filter,Placethe motorblockon thecollecting
bin again andsecureby means of thesnap
fas!eners.
Inserting the paper filter bag
(when changingthepaperfilterbag)
Place thefilterbag insidethecollecting bin,
makingsuroihattheopeninglocatedin the
cardboardinlayis placodin linewith the
suction soket.
Then press the filter bag evenly
around the sides of the collecting bin.

or cement. H owever, t heyare alsotecommen-
ded for normal use,as they notonly improve
the retentionof dust,but also make filter
changesmore hygienic,
Changin the cartridge filter
Gently the retaining clipsbackin the
direction indicated and carefullyremovethe
cartridge f ilter i nanupright position f rom the
filtermounting. C leanthesoiledcartrid e filter
underrunningwater—if necessary, wit a
brush.
Drainandallow to dry thoroughly beforeusing
again.
