I. INTENDED USE
The device is an infrared thermometer, intended to measure the temperature of infants and adults without having any
contact to human body. The temperature is measured by pointing the thermometer at the forehead of the child or the adult. It
can be used by users in a household environment and by doctors in a clinic for reference.
II. RULES AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SAFETY USAGE
1.Only use this thermometer once you have read and understood the instruction for use.
2.Only use this thermometer for the specific purpose described in the instruction manual. Any misuse will void the
warranty.
3.Children must not play with the device.
4.Device can be used for professional purposes or for personal needs.
5.Using this thermometer is no substitute for consulting a doctor. Do not self-diagnose or self-medicate based on the
measurements without consulting your doctor. In particular, do not start taking any new medication or change the type
and/ or dosage of any existing medication without prior approval.
6.This thermometer must be operated by adults and be placed out of the reach of infants.
7.Warning! Small parts. Risk of swallowing or choking. Make sure that children do not use the device unsupervised.
8.If this thermometer is stored in a cooler or warmer location than where it is being used, put it in the operation place
for at least 30 minutes before taking the measurement.
9.After physical activity, a bath, or spending time outdoors, wait approximately 30 minutes before you measure the
temperature on your forehead.
10.To ensure an accurate measurement, you should only use this thermometer indoors when the ambient temperature
range is between 10℃ and 40℃
11.Before and after each use, the thermometer should be cleaned according to the requirement of this manual to
avoid possible bacterial infections.
12.Do not expose this thermometer to electric shocks.
13.Do not expose the thermometer on extreme temperature conditions, bigger than 55° С and less than- 20° С.
14.Do not use the device in relative humidity, higher than 85%.
15.Do not put this product in a place with direct sunlight, high temperature, high humidity, excessive dust, or the place
where it may contact corrosive gas or liquid. Do not use this product in the above environment.
16.Never drop the device..
17.DO NOT TOUCH THE GLASS OF THE INFRARED SENSOR WITH YOUR FINGERS AS IT IS EXTREMELY
FRAGILE AND COULD CAUSE INJURY.
18.Do not use this thermometer if it is damaged.
19.Do not open up this thermometer. It contains small parts which might be swallowed by children.
20.Never immerse the device in water or other cleaning liquids, and do not let any liquid enters the interior of this
product.
21.If you will not use the device for long time, take the batteries out from the battery compartment. This way you will
prevent the device from battery leaking or corrosion.
22.Keep the thermometer away from electromagnetic fields produced by objects such as microwave ovens, arc
welders or induction heaters.
23.The device should no longer be reused when it reaches the expected service life (5 years, from the date of
production) of the device. See chapter XIII to dispose the device.
24.Electrical components and batteries have heavy metal or chemicals which may do harm to environment, follow the
local law and regulation on its disposal.
25.If a problem with the device appear, contact with the trader, from which you have bought it. Do not try to repair the
device by yourself. Otherwise the warranty will be void:
•If an error occurs or if the thermometer is damaged. DO NOT attempt to repair the thermometer yourself, as this will
void the warranty. Only have repairs carried out by authorized service partners.
•If you need assistance in setting up, using, or maintaining the thermometer.
•If you have unexpected operation or events to report.
