1.Battery change:
a.When LCD display shows this symbol „
b.To change the batteries with new ones, open the cover and remove the exhausted batteries and place the new ones (See
Figure B). Be careful to follow the correct polarity when placing the new batteries. An error with this action can lead to
damage of the device and void of the warranty. Never use rechargeable batteries.
2.DISPOSING OF BATTERIES: To protect the environment, dispose of empty batteries at appropriate collection sites
according to national or local regulations. The disposal method is defined in Chapter XIII.
IMPORTANT BATTERY GUIDELINES
1.An adult must handle the battery.
2.Do not allow children to play with the batteries. Risk of swallowing! Small children can swallow the batteries and to
suffocate. Store the batteries at place where children cannot reach!
3.Always remove exhausted batteries and do not throw them away together with the household waste, but in the intended
places. They are recyclable.
4.Use batteries only AAA size.
5.Alkaline batteries are recommended.
6.When you change with new batteries, always change all batteries. Children must not be present when changing the
batteries.
7.Always place the batteries correctly according to their polarity (+/-), marked on the bottom of the battery compartment. If
they are not correctly placed, this can lead to short circuit or electric shock.
8.Do not mix old batteries with new ones.
9.Do not mix alkaline, standard (Carbon-Zinc) or rechargeable (Nickel- Cadmium) batteries.
10.Do not put the batteries in fire, because they can explode or to leak.
11.Keep the batteries from direct heating sources.
12.If you will not use the device for a long time, take the batteries out of the battery compartment. This way you will prevent
the device from battery leaking or corrosion.
13.If when changing the batteries, you find that the batteries leak, put safety gloves on and clean the battery compartment
with dry towel.
14.Non-rechargeable batteries must not be charged.
15.Do not disassemble, open or shatter the batteries.
16.If your skin or eyes come into contact with battery fluid, rinse the affected area with water and seek medical assistance.
17.Protect batteries from excessive heat.

1.The thermometer is a multi-patient reusable device, and the cleaning and disinfection instructions were validated. Follow
the instructions to clean/disinfect your thermometer prior to use.
2.Cleaning:
a.Use a cotton swab moistened with hot water or neutral detergent to throughout clean the casing of thermometer and
measuring probe to remove stain or oil.
b.Inspect the thermometer visually after the cleaning process, ensure there is no soil or stain is seen. If the device is
determined not to be visually clean at the end of the cleaning step, you should either repeat the relevant previous cleaning
steps or safely dispose of the device so that a visibly soiled device is not used again.
3.Disinfection:
a.Disinfect the thermometer casing and the probe for 30 seconds with a cotton swab or non-dust cloth dipped in 75%
ethanol.
b.Repeat the above steps at least 3 times, then wipe surface and probe dry with a clean cloth, and wait about 1 minute for
