CLEANING
1. Install a suitable cup on the metal grid of the tray (11) and ad-
just the height of the coffee spout (9) (fig. 6).
2. To start the process, press the button «x2/FLUSH» «
hold it for more than 3 seconds (fig. 12) until you hear three
short sound signals.
The coffee machine uses about 60 ml of water and automatically
stops its delivery after the cleaning process is completed. During
the system cleaning process, the display on the control panel will
be showing the «CLEAN» symbols, and the coffee spout illumi-
nation will turn on. After the system has been cleaned, the coffee
machine will switch to standby mode.
FUNCTIONALITY
Preheating of cups
To maintain the flavor and aroma of your prepared beverages,
it is recommended to heat the cups before filling them. For this
purpose, there is a special cup warming tray (6) in the upper part
of the coffee machine.
Coffee grinding adjustment
To prepare a high-quality coffee beverage, adjust the grind size
according to the roast level of the coffee beans you are using
(medium roast coffee beans are recommended).
The grinding degree controller of the grinder allows you to set 5
fixed degrees of grinding of coffee beans, where 1 is the mini-
mum degree of grinding (fine grinding), 5 is the maximum degree
of grinding (coarse grinding). The grinding adjuster knob (4) is
located inside the coffee bean container (5) (fig. 2).
Open the lid of the coffee bean container (3) and set the adjuster
knob (4) to position 3 before the first grinding (fig. 2). Press the
«Espresso» « » button to start preparation (fig. 7) and wait for
the beverage to be prepared. Evaluate the quality of the prepared
beverage.
If the coffee is too strong and the coffee flow from the coffee
spout (9) is too slow, slightly increase the grind size. Set the
grinding adjuster knob (4) to 4. Press the «Espresso» button and
wait for the beverage to be prepared.
You will be able to evaluate the result of readjustment only after
making 2-3 cups of coffee.
ATTENTION! When using the coffee machine, only adjust the cof-
fee grind size when the coffee grinder is active. Failure to comply
with this requirement may lead to its breakdown. The coffee grind
size is directly related to the roast level. Use a finer grind for highly
roasted coffee and a coarser grind for lighter roasted coffee.
General coffee grinder adjustment rule
– If, when making coffee, the flow of coffee from the coffee spout
(9) is very slow (the grinding is too fine and the taste of coffee
is too strong), gently turn the grinding adjuster knob (4) clock-
wise to the next position to set the grinder to a coarser grinding.
– If, when making coffee, the coffee flow is very fast and very
» and light (the grinding is too coarse and the taste of coffee is too
weak), gently turn the grinding adjuster knob (4) counterclock-
wise to set the coffee grinder to a finer grinding.
Expanding coffee grinder adjustment range
If the quality of the prepared beverage is unsatisfactory when
using certain coffee blends and the available coffee grind size
adjustment range is not sufficient, you can modify the grind size
within broader limits.
If you need a coarser grind, use a fine screwdriver to push the
center of the grinding adjuster knob (4) (fig. 20).
Holding the screwdriver in this position, turn the adjuster knob
clockwise by one click (from the position 5 to the next position)
and release the screwdriver. In this knob position, additional 4
coarser grind settings will become accessible.
To return to the original grind size range, press the center of the
grinding adjuster knob (4) and set the knob to 5.
If you need a finer grind, press the center of the grinding adjuster
knob (4). While holding the screwdriver in this position, turn the
grinding adjuster knob counterclockwise one click (from 1 to the
next position) and release the screwdriver. In this knob position,
additional 4 finer grind settings will become accessible.
To return to the original grind size range, press the center of the
grinding adjuster knob (4) and set the knob to 1.
Note: do not place too many or excessively long coffee beans
in the coffee bean container: Excessively long beans can com-
promise coffee quality, and too many beans can become damp
(especially in humid weather), affecting the grinder's operation.
Ground coffee might not come out of the grinder, the coffee might
not brew properly, or the resulting coffee might be too weak.
NOTIFICATIONS AND WARNINGS
During the operation of the coffee machine, the following infor-
mation symbols may appear on the control panel (7) (fig. 13).
1. No coffee beans. When the «
the coffee grinder does not have enough beans.
Please add coffee beans!
2. Double cup. When the «
ble cup mode is enabled. The selected beverage will be prepared
twice (preparation of the 2nd cup will stop if there are insufficient
coffee beans in the current beverage).
3. Door is open. When the «
the right door is open. Check the right door.
4. Low water. When the «
is not enough water in the water tank. Check if there's enough
water in it.
