4.2 Recharging the d-control Professional ONE battery (fig. 3 on page 3)
The Professional ONE receiver contains a Li-Pol battery. The battery must be
recharged before using the device for the first time.
1. Remove dirt from the charging contacts. Connect the power cord with clip
to the device. The tabs on the charging clip must fit into the slots on the
collar box – fig. 3 on page 3.
2. Connect the power cable to the charging adapter, which is then plugged
into the mains.
3. The orange indicator light on the device will illuminate (charging time is
approximately 2 hours).
4. When charging is complete, the orange indicator light will go out.
WARNING: Recharge the battery in an environment with a temperature
between 0° and 40°C. Use a charging adapter with a voltage between
5 and 5.5V DC or the original power adapter for charging. Using an adapter
with a higher voltage could damage the electronic collar.
4.3 Checking the battery status
To check the battery level in
the receiver, use the battery
indicator light (LED) on the
side of the receiver (Fig. 1/3 on
page 2). If the battery is weak
or
completely
insert a new CR2 3V lithium
battery (for Professional and
Professional mini receivers) or
recharge the battery (for d-control Professional ONE receiver).
