NOte: Clean the appliance regularly to keep it in a good and safe operating
condition. Remove food remnants, grease splatters or leaked fluids after every
use. Accumulated grease can overheat and cause smoke or fire. Also keep the
door lock (1) and door seal clean so that the door can be closed correctly and
microwave radiation cannot escape.
Note: Property damage!
Do not clean the appliance with steel wool, metal scrapers, harsh chemicals,
alkaline, abrasive or disinfectant cleaning products, as these may damage its
surface. Damage to the glass door can also cause the glass to shatter.

Never submerge the appliance in water or other liquids to clean it. Make
sure that no water enters the appliance during cleaning.
general cleaning
1. Unplug the appliance before cleaning and allow it to cool off completely.
2. Use a soft, moist cloth and, if needed, a mild detergent to clean the appliance
housing, the door lock (1) and door seal, the inspection window (2) and the
interior of the appliance (including waveguide (6)). Finish by wiping it with a
dry and soft cloth.
3. Clean the glass turntable (3), the roller ring (5) and the turnstile (4) with a soft
sponge in warm, soapy water. Finish by wiping it with a dry and soft cloth.
4. If water vapour collects on the inside of the door or around the outside of the
door, wipe it off with a soft cloth. This phenomenon is completely normal and
can occur if the appliance is operated in a very humid environment.
5. Remove unpleasant odours from the interior of the appliance by heating a
few lemon slices in a cup for 23 minutes on high power in the appliance.
Alternatively, heat a cup of black tea or some orange peel in a cup for 1 minute
on high power.
6. Do not use the appliance again until it is completely dry.
Storage
1. Always make sure that the appliance is completely dry and cooled off before
storing it.
2. Store the appliance in a cool, dry place where it is protected against moisture
and out of the reach of children.
3. It is a good idea to use the original packaging for storage.
