• Never touch the appliance when your hands are wet or moist or while you are
standing on a wet or moist surface. Never touch the power cable with wet or
moist hands. electric shock hazard!
• Do not use accessories that are not explicitly recommended by the manufacturer.
These can be a safety hazard for the user and damage the device. Therefore use
original parts and accessories only.
• Do not place any heavy objects on the appliance. Do not place any objects
with open flames (e.g. candles) or filled with liquids (e.g. vases) on or near the
appliance. electric shock hazard!
• Do not disconnect the mains plug by pulling on the cable. electric shock
hazard!
• Connect the mains plug with an easily accessible electrical outlet so that
the appliance can be quickly disconnected from the electrical supply in an
emergency.
• Under no circumstances attempt to open the housing of the appliance. Do not
insert any fingers or foreign objects into the openings of the appliance and do
not block any ventilation openings. electric shock hazard!
• Protect the appliance from heat. Do not position the unit in the vicinity of open
flames or heat sources, such as cookers or other heaters.
• Always complete the cooking or setting process before pulling the mains plug
from the electrical outlet.
• Do not operate the appliance without food inside it. This may damage the
appliance.
• Only use the appliance if the glass turntable, the roller ring and the turnstile are
installed and rotate correctly.
• Do not remove the mica plate that covers the waveguide.
• If the light bulb of the appliance needs to be replaced, please contact your
dealer to replace it. electric shock hazard!
• Crockery can also become hot due to hot food. Always use pot holders to
remove food from the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance for storing objects. Do not leave any paper objects,
cooking utensils or food in the appliance.
• Always prepare food in a sufficiently large container to prevent overflowing/
boiling over.
• Take care when cooking or heating food with a high sugar content. If such food
is heated for too long, the sugar can caramelise or ignite.
• Do not use this appliance to heat food in heat retention bags intended for
normal ovens, such as roasting bags. This type of heat retention bag usually
contains a thin layer of aluminium foil, which reflects microwaves. The
reflected energy can heat the outer paper cover to such an extent that it ignites.
