When cooking, start with a short time setting, evaluate the cooking result
after the time has elapsed and extend it as required. Excessive cooking
can lead to smoke and burns.
• Place the thicker parts of the food on the outside of the crockery and the thinner
parts in the centre. Distribute the food evenly, and try not to overlap it.
• Food such as chicken, hamburgers or steaks should be turned once during
cooking. Depending on the type of food, stir once or twice from the outside
into the centre of the dish during cooking.
• After the cooking times have elapsed, leave the food in the appliance long
enough for it to complete its cooking cycle and cool down gradually.
• The colour and hardness of food help to determine whether it is cooked. Look
for the following indications:
− Vapour escapes from all parts of the food, not just the edges
− Poultry pieces are easy to move
− Pork or poultry meat shows no traces of blood
− Fish is opaque and can be easily cut into slices with a fork
• Note: Property damage!
If you use a browning dish or a selfheating container, always place heat
resistant insulation, such as a porcelain plate, underneath to prevent damage
to the turntable (3) and the roller ring (5).
• When cooking food with a high fat content, make sure that microwave-safe
cling film does not come into contact with the food as it could melt.
• Some microwave-safe plastic cookware may not be suitable for cooking food
with a high fat and sugar content. In addition, the preheating time specified in
the cooking instructions for the dish must not be exceeded.
