If you open the package carelessly with a sharp knife or other pointed objects, the
appliance may be damaged. Be very careful when opening the package.
The appliance is packaged to protect it from transport damage.
1. Carefully unpack the appliance.
2. Remove all parts of the packaging.
3. Check whether the package contains all parts.
4. Clean the appliance and all accessories (­> see section "Cleaning").

PrePArINg FOr FIrSt USe

NOte: Odour development!
During its first use, the appliance may emit minor steam or odours.
These are residues from the production or transport that will vanish quickly.
Please make sure that there is sufficient ventilation.
1. Insert the turnstile (4) into the corresponding
opening in the microwave interior. Then insert
the roller ring (5) and finally the turntable (3).
Make sure that the turntable (3) engages correctly
on the turnstile (4).
2. Insert the mains plug (8) into a properly installed
electrical outlet.
3. Operate the appliance on high power with a cup
of water in it.
4. Discard the water as soon as it has heated up.
5. Repeat points 3 and 4 several times until the
vapours/odours decrease.
6. Disconnect the mains plug (8) from the electrical outlet, and allow the
appliance to cool down.
