G Operating instructions
Wireless Thermometer
Item no. 1341306
Intended use
The product is used to display the time, the date, the weekday, and the indoor and out-
door temperature. The enclosed outdoor sensor transmits the measured temperature
wirelessly by radio to the base station.
The base station receives the DCF signal and uses it to set the time and date automati-
cally. However, it can also be set manually wherever there are reception problems.
Operation of the base station and outdoor sensor requires two batteries each of the
type AAA/Micro.
Always observe the safety instructions and all other information included in these op-
erating instructions.
Any use other than as described above is not permitted and can damage the product.
In addition, it can lead to hazards such as short-circuiting, fire, etc.

Getting started with the outdoor sensor
• Slide the battery case lid on the back of the outdoor sensor downwards and out.
• In the battery compartment is a sliding switch for setting the transmission channel. If
you are using only the single outdoor sensor enclosed, set the switch to channel 1.
If more than one outdoor sensor is reported to the base station (up to 3 are possible),
you must set each outdoor sensor to a different channel.
• Insert two AAA/Micro batteries into the battery compartment paying attention to the
correct polarity (observe positive/+ and negative/-).
• Close the battery compartment again.
Getting started with the base station
• Open the battery compartment of the base station.
• Insert two AAA/Micro batteries into the battery compartment paying attention to the
correct polarity (observe positive/+ and negative/-).
• Close the battery compartment again.
• Immediately after the batteries are inserted, the base station briefly shows all dis-
play segments. Then, the first indoor temperature reading appears in the bottom left
of the display.
• The base station will now initiate the search for the signal of the outdoor sensor; the
reception icon on the bottom right of the display flashes. The search process lasts
approx. 3 minutes. Do not press any button during this time. Do not move the base
station.
The outdoor sensor should be placed nearby the base station (distance 0.5 to 1 m)
during this stage.
• If the base station still does not display any outdoor sensor temperature data after
3 minutes (the bottom right of the display shows dashes, but no temperature value),
you can perform a new search for the outdoor sensor at a later stage (after receiv-
ing the DCF signal).
