Thank you for choosing an NUM'AXES product. Please read these instructions carefully before use, and keep this guide for future reference.
This device has been designed to emit ultrasound audible only to dogs up to 15 meters away. The ultrasound emitted by the device is annoying to dogs, but inaudible to humans.
The ultrasonic anti-bark device is a training aid. Using ultrasound, it enables the owner to stop his dog barking, correct and improve his behavior (damage to flowerbeds, channel
the dog when he's inside the house, prohibit him from certain rooms or from climbing onto the sofa, etc.). It also enables walkers, joggers, cyclists and letter carriers to repel
dogs by means of an audible alarm that may frighten them off, or ultrasound sounds that will scare them away.

Installing the battery

slide the battery cover off

install the 9V battery (not included) into battery compartment

slide the battery cover back into place

Ultrasonic mode
To activate the ultrasonic wave, press and hold the "Ultrasonic" button (see
diagram).
To deactivate the ultrasonic wave, release the "Ultrasonic" button (see diagram).

Alarm mode
To activate the alarm, press and hold the "Audible" button (see diagram).
To deactivate the alarme, release the "Audible" button (see diagram).

Flashlight
To turn the flashlight on, switch the side button to ON position (see diagram).
Tu turn the flashlight off, switch the side button to OFF position (see diagram).

Troubleshooting
Should your product stop working or develop a fault, please read this guide over
and make sure you are using the product as instructed, to ensure that the
malfunction is not due to user error. Check the battery and replace it if necessary.
If the problem persists, contact your retailer or check out our FAQ section at
www.numaxes.com.

Depending on the extent of the malfunction, you may have to return the product
for service and repair.
For repairs, please provide:

the proof of purchase (invoice or sales receipt).
If you omit one of these items, the After Sales Service will charge repair fees.

NUM'AXES guarantees the product against all manufacturing defects for two years
after purchase. All postage and packing charges will be the purchaser's sole
responsibility.

You may purchase replacement batteries (6LR61 9V alkaline battery) from
NUM'AXES or from your retailer at any time.

You must either bring the device to a collection point for treatment, recovery,
recycling and elimination of electronic waste, or return it to your retailer.
Safe disposal of electronic waste is an environmentally friendly way to support the
preservation of natural resources and the protection of human health.
For further information about collection points for used equipment, you can either
contact your local government/ waste management services, or return the product
to NUM'AXES.
Warranty
Warranty conditions
The warranty applies only upon submission of a valid proof of purchase
(invoice or sales receipt). The warranty is exclusive to the original purchaser.
This warranty does not cover the following:

battery replacement,
-
direct or indirect transport risks linked to the return of the product to
NUM'AXES,

product damage resulting from:

negligence or fault on part of user (e.g.: bites, breakage,
cracking),
-
use contrary to instructions or for other than intended
purpose,

repairs conducted by unauthorized technicians.

loss or theft.
If the product is found to be defective, NUM'AXES shall either repair or
exchange it, as deemed fit by NUM'AXES.
NUM'AXES shall not be held liable in any way for the damages resulting from
incorrect use or product breakdown.
NUM'AXES reserves the right to modify the characteristics of its products
with a view to making technical improvements or to complying with new
regulations.
